Can I work across the border in NSW with an ACT licence?
    Last updated: June 22, 2025

Generally, no. You need to be licensed in the state where the property is located. While there are mutual recognition provisions, an agent with only an ACT licence cannot legally sell property in NSW without obtaining a NSW licence or certificate.
